Day 1:
- Introduction to different types of phones
- Introduction to different components in phones and learn how to troubleshoot the common issues
- Discuss best practices for phone repair
- Discuss visualization and how to approach all repairs
- Practice using visualization and how to approach all repairs using various iPhones (ex. iPhone Screen Repair)
Day 2:
- Continue learning, practicing visualization, and how to approach repair on all phones using various iPhones
- Screen Repair
- Charging Port Replacement
- Battery Replacement
- Motherboard Removal
- Learn about common issues and related symptoms with iPhones in detail
- Continue practicing visualization and how to approach repairs using Android phones
- Continue practicing visualization and how to approach repairs using iPads
Day 3:
- Learn about liquid damaged phones and how to approach repair
- Introduction to different repair equipment and techniques used in soldering
- Equipment: Soldering Iron, Hot Air, Heat Gun
- Techniques: Manual Soldering, Hot Swap, Cold Swap
- Demonstrate and practice using a soldering iron
- Demonstrate and practice repairing charging ports using different equipment and techniques
Day 4:
- Continue practicing charging port repair and similar components using different equipment and techniques
- Demonstrate and practice how to repair iPad charging ports and similar components
- Demonstrate and practice how to repair FPC or similar components using different equipment and techniques
Day 5:
- Continue practicing techniques to repair FPC or similar components
- Demonstrate how to repair backlight filter issues
- Take a practical exam
- Disassemble a live phone
- Change charging port using one of the soldering techniques
- Reassemble and test if the repair was successful
- Discuss business aspects of the repair industry and answer questions
When: Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM
