Step 1
Power down your iPhone 6s Plus.
Step 2
Remove the two bottom 3.4 mm Pentalobe screws located next to the lightning connector.
Step 3
Place a suction cup near the home button and pull the iPhone 6s Plus display assembly away from the rear case. Use the iSesamo opening tool to slice through the adhesive and help carefully separate the display assembly from the rear case.
Take your time and apply firm, constant force. The display assembly is a much tighter fit than most devices and is held down with adhesive.
The display assembly is still connected to the iPhone by several cables, so don’t try to remove it entirely just yet.
Step 4
Remove the following 5 Phillips screws securing the metal cover to the iPhone's motherboard.
Now use the fine tip curved tweezers to disconnect the LCD, digitizer and front camera and proximity sensor cables.
Step 5
Remove the following 3 Phillips screws securing the protective metal bracket in place.
With the metal bracket removed, disconnect the 6s Plus Taptic Engine from the motherboard.
Remove the following 2 Phillips screws that secure the Taptic Engine to the rear case.
With the fine tip curved tweezers remove the iPhone 6s Plus Taptic Engine.
Step 6
Remove the following 2 Phillips screws that secure the protective metal bracket in place.
Detach the 6s Plus Lightning Connector Assembly from the motherboard.
Remove the following 6 Phillips screws securing the iPhone 6s Plus loudspeaker to the rear case.
With the loudspeaker set aside, remove the following 5 Phillips screws that secure the Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack in place.
With assistance from the spudger, remove the iPhone 6s Plus Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack Assembly.
* To reassemble your device, follow the steps in reverse order.
